The TrimTrac Locators supplied with TrimTrac Mobile software do not have a Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card included. This will allow you to install a competitively priced local SIM card for your market into the Locator. Full installation instructions are included with the software.

Any SIM card will work providing the SIM Pin number facility is disabled. We recommend that a Pay as You Go (PAYG) sim card is used. These cards often offer the best SMS rates and are easily purchased in the local market. The Locator will also work with a monthly contract SIM card.

For the UK market only

For TrimTrac Mobile software:
Any phone with windows mobile 5.0 operating system will work with TrimTrac Mobile software. Currently we recommend the MDA Pro and the MDA Vario devices from the T-Mobile range. The MDA Vario offer a very good compromise between a compact screen size and small form factor. If you require the faster data speeds of 3G then the MDA pro is a perfect device for TrimTrac Mobile software.
